ALLUNY Ascends 2023: AI & Tech in Action
When: Friday, September 22, 2023
Where: Syracuse University or Rochester

Registration for our annual meeting, “ALLUNY Ascends 2023: AI & Tech in Action” is now live. Register online at https://alluny.org/?page_id=148 or download the form to mail. The theme of this year’s conference will be AI & tech, with speakers from all corners of the law and library worlds discussing the many facets of Generative AI, related tech developments, and the impacts that these developments are likely to have on libraries, legal practice, legal education, and access to justice.

We’re trying something a little different this year, and will be hosting the meeting at two separate in-person sites (in Syracuse and Rochester), and we’ll also be providing an option to attend virtually, for those of you who still want to participate but who can’t make it to either of the physical locations.

Registration fee is $30 regardless of which method of attendance you select. There are several ALLUNY Grants & Awards available to offset member costs for this meeting. Please see https://alluny.org/?page_id=104 for details, as we have the Ernest H. Breuer Memorial Grant of up to $250 for registration and travel expenses to the Annual Meeting, the Library Studies Student Grant of up to $150, and the Miscellaneous Program Grant of up to $200 available. Grant applications are available on the online registration page.

We hope to see all of you there! And please feel free to reach out if you’ve got any questions.

Thanks,

Chris Lund (on behalf of the Annual Meeting Planning Committee)
