2020 Spring Institute CANCELLED

Dear ALLUNY Members and Friends,

In light of the current health climate and concern for the spread of COVID-19, the ALLUNY Board unanimously decided to cancel the ALLUNY Spring Institute which was to be on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the Syracuse University College of Law.

We are hoping that this will lead to greater turnout and enthusiasm for the ALLUNY Annual Meeting tentatively scheduled for Oct. 16 – 17, 2020 at the Hotel Ithaca in Ithaca, New York.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
Peter Hook
ALLUNY President

2020 Spring Institute Call for Proposals

ALLUNY is holding the Spring Institute on Friday, April 21, 2019 at the Syracuse University College of Law.

The ALLUNY Board is calling for proposals for 45-minute sessions! There is no theme for the Spring Institute, so please do not feel constrained by topic. Have you:

  • Had successes others can learn from, such as using new technology or exploring a non-traditional role?
  • Learned about emerging trends and issues that need further exploration and discussion?
  • Learned something interesting that you think other law librarians would benefit from knowing?

If so, we want to hear about it! Please send your proposals to Peter Hook at peter.hook@cornell.edu by Monday, March 23, 2020. Your proposal should include the working title for your session, a brief abstract, and the intended audience.

If you cannot present at the Spring Institute, please consider presenting at our Annual Conference which will be held October 16 – 17, 2020 in Ithaca, NY!
